Here are some useful tips that will help you drink the minimum amount of water each day:
Keep track of how much water you drink. It is really easy to lose track of how much water you are drinking if you don’t track.
An easy way it to get a 16-ounce water bottle and put the number of elastic bands around it for how many eight ounces glasses you need. Every time you finishing drinking 8-ounces remove one of the elastic bands.
If you want a bottle that is a little more high tech, there are water bottles you can buy that comes with the prerequisite bands.
Another way to keep track of your water intake is to write it down. You can either carry around a small notebook or use the note app on your phone or tablet.
To make your water drinking more enjoyable, use your favorite glass. If you enjoy using the glass you are more apt to drink your water.
If you can’t stand the taste of plain water, add some fresh or frozen fruit. Or, just add a slice of lemon. A sprig of mint is also a good addition to plain water.
You might also want to consider reducing or cutting out soft drinks or beverages with cream and sugar.
The less you drink of these beverages the more likely you are to drink water.
